pg_dbname — 获取数据库名称

说明

pg_dbname(?PgSql\Connection $connection = null): string

pg_dbname() 返回指定 PostgreSQL connection 实例的数据库名称。

参数

connection: An PgSql\Connection instance. When connection is null, the default connection is used. The default connection is the last connection made by pg_connect() or pg_pconnect().
警告
As of PHP 8.1.0, using the default connection is deprecated.

返回值

包含 connection 到的数据库名称的 string。

8.1.0	现在 `connection` 参数接受 PgSql\Connection 实例，之前接受 resource。
8.0.0	`connection` 可以为 null。

This function is as simple as it sounds, it returns the name of the database your are currently connected to on the handle retrieved from a pg_connect() call.

    $pgsql_conn = pg_connect("dbname=mark host=localhost");

    if ($pgsql_conn) {
        print "Successfully connected to database: " . pg_dbname($pgsql_conn) .
" on " .  pg_host($pgsql_conn) . "<br/>\n";
    } else {
        print pg_last_error($pgsql_conn);
        exit;
    }
?>

Successfully connected to database: mark on localhost<br/>

Again this function is much more useful when you are changing which database you are connected to in your program.
